About Mrs.Tiffany

Tiffany V. King, owner and artistic director of Dancers 4 Life Studio, Tuscaloosa, AL is a native of Montgomery, Alabama.  Her very successful dance career began at the age of three at Tonya Speed’s Dance Connection.  Her formal dance education includes Booker T. Washington Magnet High School, Southern Union College, and the University of Alabama.

 

Mrs. Tiffany’s most proud accomplishment is the opening of Dancers 4 Life Studio in 2007.  The motto of Dancers 4 Life is “Where the Rewards far exceed Dancing”!  Ms. Tiffany is producing good dancers and great individuals.  Tiffany’s zeal for the art of dance is evident in her many accomplishments, as well as, the successes of her dance students.  Mrs. Tiffany, as she is affectionately called by her many dance students over the years, is a self-motivated entrepreneur fueled by her compassion for others and passion for dance.

 

Before and following earning her Bachelor of Art degree in dance from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Tiffany gave back to the community by teaching dance classes for afterschool programs in Tuscaloosa and the surrounding counties.  She also taught for programs of the Parks and Recreation (PARA) department.  Additionally, Mrs. Tiffany taught praise dance classes for a local church; as well as, she choreographed for high school dance lines, show choirs, sororities, and pageant contestants.  She is highly recruited as a private dance instructor.

Throughout the years of training and competitions, she has earned the following awards and accolades:

  • Auditioned and accepted into Booker T. Washington Magnet High School with a concentration in the art of dance.

  • Earned a college scholarship and graduated with an Associate Degree in Dance from Southern Union State Community College, Wadley, AL.

  • Dance Educator of America(DEA)- Platinum medal, a bid to nationals in Orlando, FL 2000

  • DEA National Competition- Silver medal duo with  Stephen (Twitch) Boss 2000

  • Received a dance scholarship to Southern Union Community College 2000-2002

  • Performed in the musical Lil Abner 2001 Southern Union Community College

  • Traveled to New York City and took dance classes at the New York Broadway Company

  • Was awarded the first ever Community Dance Award  at the University of Alabama 2011 which was inspired by Ms. Tiffany’s community involvement and involvement with exposure for dance students to professional dance and dance education.
